War Veterans

How World War 2 veterans of the German (Nazi) Army treated in Germany?

I suppose there are many old Veterans of World War 2 from Germany who are still alive. There are so many in the U.S., and they are all the heroes we call. What the German people think of their own veterans of the war itself? Are they treated as heroes or they are not even recognized because they were on the losing side (and a lot of bad things)? I know they probably do not celebrate as we do here (with all veterans, not just WW2), but they celebrated or acknowledged at all? The Germans do not want to forget about them and what they did?

Firstly there is not not left since many veterans of the war is over more than 60 years the few people who are still alive are very old men. They are not despised because they fought for the country is not for the Nazis there were no Nazi army which was the SS please be aware of this difference if you can not read the books before insulting others. They are not considered naturally as heroes that would be meaningless since Germany lost the war heroes are those who earn it. is comparable to that of former Veterans of the Vietnam War the United States are not considered heroes, or they have lost since the U.S. lost the Vietnam War, whether on the battlefield or at the green table is not difference to the result you should really stop the interpretation of historical events momentary needs that is very American if you repeat, you do not lose I post links and images lt
