All You Need To Know About Polish Special Forces?

Polish special forces GROM are called and are a division of the army Polish. The acronym GROM means thunder in Polish and are used in a variety of Special Operations including unconventional warfare.

History

GROM was formed in 1990 and is currently one of the Polish Army, even if it started as ministry Polish Interior. GROM was formed to defend the citizens of Poland after two diplomats from Poland were killed during the operation Bridge while transferring civilians.

Known Missions

They managed to extract six CIA agents in Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, Active in Bosnia, the operation maintenance of democracy in Haiti, Eastern Slavonia, where they stopped at least 6 war criminals in Yugoslavia, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Units

1st Special Commando units include Regiment, 6th Brigade Aeromobile, anti terrorist units of the police and various units of special divisions.

GROM These are professional soldiers and are considered to be equality with the most elite special forces worldwide, including Navy Seals and SAS.
