Soviet Navy
Why is there no bigger gun carrying cruise (warships)?
Why are there not more gun carrying cruise in the Navy U.S.? What if a Cruiser was hired by pirate skiff and mother ships, cruisers main defense is a twin 76mm cannon fight with weapons and missiles. If the Cruiser has eight 6-inch guns that can shoot back and do more damage than the 76mm twins. Have we not learn anything from boats to attack Iran during the Iran-Iraq war in the Persian Gulf? Missiles are great against the big ships, but almost useless Small cons used by hackers boasts modern Africa and Indian Ocean coasts. I know that Argentina was a Cruiser of World War 2, but was sunk by a sub-Columbia in 1982 during the Falklands conflict and the Soviet Navy had one during the Cold War, but I think it is Now retired. Are there other big cruisers Gun in one of modern navies today and if not, why?
A modern Cruiser, by virtue of its size, is often used as a command ship. It has the capacity to lead the fight. He has the reach and speed to operate independently a battle group. Thus, it has its place in modern warfare. The amount of the room and the teams needed big guns, and security issues, made missiles and automatic cannon little more efficient. I do not know of any vessel "big gun" still in use.
