Red Army
2nd World War, why the Soviets soldiers of the Red Army, they must share the shotgun and the others must carry ammunition? Lol?
Hello I forgot the film have been called and Ed Harris plays a German Nazi sniper. Anyway, why Soviet Army they have to share shotgun to fight against the invading Germans? But the Soviets beat the Germans Stalingrad? I am totally lost and if you know about this, please let me know. Thank you!
It was not a gun Hunting was a combat rifle. At Stalingrad, to take the city were pumping Soviet troops faster than they could equip so some soldiers were sent into battle unarmed. We expected them to be … A. be killed B. Capture a weapon C. Acquire a weapon of a fallen comrade in more or less that order. Naturally, this only happened because of the urgency to Stalingrad. It was not something that was common in the war.
