My dog has been getting patches of skin that becomes viscous many crispy crusts. When the scabs disappear?
under the skin is pink and healthy looking. The condition does not appear to be painful or itchy, but it stinks. Any idea what is happening and what must do about it? We live a long way from the nearest vet so I would like suggestions for treatment that I can manage myself.
Try Campho phinique. I know I spelled that wrong but hey. I have a rabbit with this kind of problem and put it on him and the wound cleared up and went. You also try "dry cow". Its antibiotic cream sold in any grocery store. It is also for Terramycin animals. If none of this works I deffinatly take him to a vet. Good luck!
