baby carrots are real baby carrots or regular large carrots cut in the shape of baby?
Thank you for asking this question. I always thought they were real baby carrots also called Nantes. Sometimes I grow carrots in my garden and I certainly do not cut / shape them or anything. They grow in small forms like radishes. But from the responses it seems that some manufacturers cheat and actually cut / carrots real form. I guess they make this area of security as they obviously can produce larger quantities by the shape. Perhaps this is why store bought baby carrots are sometimes dry, as did my Homegrown '.
