Frequent Flyer: Why is there only one flight available?
I want to fly to Hawaii in July. My loyalty program shows only one flight available with two stops and a long held over. What is the probability of more flights are added in the coming months?
My experience with programs loyalty is that the seats are almost impossible to get to popular destinations, even in low season. Once I tried to book places six months before flying to Europe in the middle of winter. The company had no available seats anywhere in my preferred dates. One of their airline partners also had none. I found the seats a different partner airline, but had to change the dates and shorten my trip. Airlines generally offer few seats per flight very complimentary tickets. If you can find some, you'd better to take them. They will not be around long, especially in Hawaii. I agree with the previous person who said that it is unlikely that flights will be added in July because it is the low season.
