This is a very good EMS / EMT-Basic book?
Go take a course at a local community college next semester, seeking a start early.
I will check with the college, but a very good book to use to make a good start (very wise!) And study for the National Register of EMTs (NREMT) is the emergency care (11th edition) of the text by Brady. The book is easy reading and also owned by Pearson VUE. Pearson Vue is who manages the NREMT tests it is best to use the book written by the people who wrote the test. I posted a link to the book below. Good luck!
