Where can I place my father USMC / WWll articles-Gaudalcanal/Bougainville- s.Pacific as final resting place.?

APurple heart from ADM "Bulls" on the ground medal Halsey hand made knife from my grandfather to him a Pith Helmet patches/A-1-9 USMC 3rd Div / March 9 A bag of assorted medals Wed .. V-mail – green Dress Uniform – many pix and letters from Senator Heflin Howlin his lieutenant with carved bamboo saying Gaudalcanal Comb / native Bougainville and a nice pix of my father's costume in the blues with his brother 3rd div. WWll Navy / and my grandfather in his Army uniform WWL also 3rd Div pix big story … All this needs a good final resting HOME. thank you all for the help —- Gregory – USAF – (not in the 3rd Div.)

The National Marine Corps Museum opened in DC in November last year. Contact them. If they do not need to seek some of the unit the trick is that are still active today. They would have stuff like that. Perhaps a Marine Corps base to display. I am sure it should not be difficult to find a place for your treasures. If you do not have the chance or time, contact me and I'll be more than happy to help you find a home. !!!!! Semper Fi
