Challenge Coins

Do I have a chance at being accepted into the U.S Military Academy (West Point)?

I have been a member of J.R.O.T.C for approximately 3 years going on 4 years. This upcoming 12th grade year I will be the battallion commander and have the rank of L.T Colonel highest rank in the program. I have been awarded numerous awards including distingushed cadet, superior cadet and cadet of the year. I also have been a recipient of 2 challenge coins. I am also captain of the drill team. I was also a former member of the Civil Air Patrol where I attended a leaders ship camp at Stratton Air National Guard Base even flew in a C-130 also I been to Fort Dix for ROTC leadership training. The only negative thing is my grades are not all that good. I have been mostly a ‘B’ student all my life. Welcome to all answers.

I think some of those things are good enough accomplishments to certainly get u looked at if u applied. And B’s are not all that bad, although I applaud u for aiming high! However, are u aware that u need recommendations from senators, etc. to apply to West Point? With that resume and some good recommendations, I see u as a great candidate! Good luck!
