Campaign Medal

I am a veteran (four years in the Navy) w / a campaign medal, but I can not find a job. Can anyone help?

I left the Navy for over a year now and I still can not get a job. I live in an area in southern California who hires not white (do not speak Spanish) people. I desperately need a job and I learned all about the restrictions. What I am looking for now is a job abroad. If someone could recommend a job or business that is partial for hiring veterans, I'd be very happy. Thank you!

Try working for the federal government. Jump to USAJobs.gov This is a government website, and not a paid service. Govt count your military service credit and you can find all sorts of jobs all the more even abroad. You have at least 5 points preferance and perhaps 10 (if you have at least 10% disabled). You can also go to VA and see if you qualify for vocational rehab. They can re-train for a job. They have several different programs, so you check all. Other than you can move to another area that has oppertunities jobs. It took me six months by the Navy before finding a job. I was nurse. I found a job in a hospital, but I live in Metro Atlanta. There is a lot more jobs here in particular, medical jobs. I think From the East Coast is more military friendly.
