Blue Star
How many Sikhs were killed during Operation Blue Star?
Sikh attempted genocide of 1984 by the Indian government … how Sikhs were actually killed and how many were victims?
Indian government estimates were about 400, but for human rights counted the deaths of thousands. There were many more people that day than usual because it was the anniversary Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the guru who built the Golden Temple. The government is fully aware that there would be many more innocent pilgrims that day, and the military are out of their way to kill the largest possible number of pilgrims, including women and children. Do not believe? Watch interview with Bluestar survivors. Moreover, contrary to what is displayed above, Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was not a murderer. It was considered a terrorist because he spoke about the injustices against Sikhs: he spoke out against police and government brutality against the Sikhs (Did you know Police Sikh women raped?), Sikhs do not (and do not) have their own marriage rights (even in British-Sikh rule had the Akhand Karaj Act, now is the Hindu Marriage Act), and much more. He did not hate Hindus as "oops" can say.
